What a way to experience all that Awassi Cheesery has to offer. Our long table lunch is certainly the highlight of each month. We offer the ultimate ‘Paddock to Plate‘ experience. Sharing food and friends in the Avocado Orchard is certainly a great way to spend a day on the farm.
Our menu consists of six courses of fabulous farm produce. Our Awassi Lamb is the highlight of this special menu – slow cooked for 12 hours, it will melt in your mouth. Other signature Awassi dishes include our Awassi baked Cheesecakes, and our special Awassi Blue Pecorino – served with our naturally harvested honey combe.
Partway through our lunch, we take you on a tour around the farm and the Cheese room, we love sharing our beautiful farm with beautiful people.
This event starts at 12.30 pm and ends when the bottle is empty.

Directions: Our farm address is 776 Sandy Creek Rd, Grantham, AUSTRALIA 4347 Sandy Creek Road is a No Through Road. Our farm is located on a dirt road – please drive carefully to suit the road conditions. Sandy Creek Road begins at the Intersection of Lawlers Road – this is the easiest way to navigate to us – from Lawlers Road. Coming from Toowoomba you will need to take the Gatton/Grantham exit. You have 2 options to navigate to Sandy Creek Road. You can continue Right onto the Gatton/Helidon Road towards Gatton and take a left-hand turn under a railway bridge to get onto Lawlers Road, where you turn right onto Lawlers Road and take the next turn left into Sandy Creek Road. Option 2 is to stay left off the Warrego Hwy into Helidon (Turner Street) and then go under the first railway bridge and turn right onto Lawlers Road – Please note the height of the bridge for your vehicle. Follow Lawlers Road for approx. 5 klms and then turn left into Sandy Creek Road. If your vehicle is too high for the Bridge you will need to continue into Helidon and take the railway overpass. This Street is called Mary McKillop, turn right into Arthur Street and then right into George Street and follow onto Lawlers Road. Coming from Brisbane you will need to take the Helidon Exit off the Warrego Hwy. You will need to stay left onto Lawlers Road and follow for approx. 5 klms, where you will turn left into Sandy Creek Road. (Two left turns off the Warrego Hwy). Once on Sandy Creek Road, you will come to a fork in the road – the road/street sign is for you to stay left and continue along Sandy Creek Road. Our farm is located on the right-hand side – with a sign AWASSI CHEESERY. If the Farm Gate is open – there is no need to phone for Biosecurity. Please enter and enjoy what we have to offer.
