Winter greetings to all of our cheese, ice-cream and lamb aficionados. Awassi Cheesery will be taking a winter break this year June – August 2024.
But don’t worry we will be back in September – ahh Spring.
With lower milk yields this winter we have decided to give the ‘girls’ some time off, it will be their and our first break in our 7 years – WOW, where did the time go!
Our next lambing will be in August/September 2024 – this being the start of our milking season for 2024/2025. More lambs means more Milk and more Milk means more Cheese and Ice-cream. We will be back creating our bespoke cheeses and ice-creams before you know it, there might even be some new creations – yes of course there will be.
