Welcome To Awassi CheeseryNestled in the tranquil Grantham hills of the beautiful Lockyer Valley, surrounded by Avocado groves and the gentle pottering of our beloved Awassi sheep is ‘Awassi Cheesery’, our purpose-built sheep dairy and boutique cheesery and home to the ‘Grantham’, a regional cheese designed specifically for its locality.

Awassi Cheesery
We love what we do – living our cheese dream
We love sharing our home/farm with family, friends and our welcomed guests, taking their tastebuds on a journey of absolute bliss, one they will never forget… Being an artisanal producer allows us to create the most exquisite food creations and next-level natural healing products, all harvested off our beautiful farm.
As our beautiful Awassi herd grows, our purpose-built cheesery, milking parlour, and farm outlet is at full production and welcoming guest to share in the tranquillity offered on our beautiful farm.
There is plenty to see and do here at Awassi Cheesery whilst enjoying your cheese platters. Meet the girls (our beautiful Awassi Sheep), take a stroll, play a game of Frisbee Golf on the Orchard course, maybe a game of Botchy on the lawn, or you can pull up a chair under the avocado grove with your bottle of wine and relax.
It’s Not A Day Out Unless You Have Ice Cream!
Introducing Awassi’s Very Own Flavours – Lockyer Valley Ice Cream
Using our Awassi sheep milk and local fruits, David and I have created a lactose free and gluten free range of cool indulgence. Seasonal fruits are the equal taste heroes in these unique ranges. Whilst the concept of combining local fruits and ice cream is not new, when you nurture a product that is pure and free from preservatives and made from local ingredients by locals, that’s
when you create something really special.
We have an ethos of great care and culinary attention in developing our products. With a family background in dairy, cheese making and ice cream it is no wonder we have landed amidst the gourmet world of sheep’s cheese and ice cream.
The family story of dairy production now has a new chapter.
